Cinnamon Roll Cake from Scratch
The cake is moist with an added cinnamon swirl throughout and topped with a vanilla glaze.

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 354 ⅞ ml buttermilk (see substitution in the notes)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
  • 113 ½ g melted unsalted butter (1 stick)

  • 220 g packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
