Ingredients
- subheading: Dry Mix (Trash):
- 2 cups cherrios
- 2 cups corn chex
- 2 cups wheat chex
- 2 cups pretzel sticks, break in half
- 1 cup mix nuts
- subheading: Liquid Mix:
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ tsp. garlic salt
- ¼ tsp. celery salt
- ¼ tsp. onion salt
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Steps
- Mix the dry ingredients well in a large bowl.
- Mix liquid mix ingredients in a sauce pan and warm the mix.
- Pour the liquid mix over the dry ingredients and stir gently. Be sure the liquid mix is warm.
- Bake at 250° for 1 hours. Stir the mix every 15 minutes.
- Pour out on an absorbent paper. (I use brow bags with paper towels over them.)
- Let cool.
Notes
- My special instructions:
- I, personally, mix 5 recipes at a time of the Dry Mix. I mix 6 recipes of the Liquid Mix for every 5 recipes of the Dry mix.

- I bake 4 to 6 weeks before Christmas. After cool, I store in a large plastic bag. I put the plastic bag in a large paper bag then store in a metal can and place the lid on tight. Store the tin in a cool place and it is ready for Christmas. By storing in the tin for a few weeks, the flavor improves. I call it curing till Christmas.
