Take-Out Style Vegetable Lo Mein
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ½ cups cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • ¼ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup shredded cabbage (red, green, or Napa)
  • ½ cup snow peas
  • 2 scallions, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ½ pound lo mein, cooked according to package directions
