cream of mushroom
Ingredients
  • All the following veggies are finely chopped in my ninja (not pureed)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 Med Carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 3 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 cups Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 package Knorr Vegetable soup mix
  • 5 cups broth ) I used vegetable broth.
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt, Pepper and spices you like to taste.
Steps
  1. HP for 20, NPR (about 20 min)
  2. (I have an 8 qt IP)Set your IP to saute setting, mix 1 ½ cups flour in milk until smooth
  3. and whisk into soup until thickened. (It's not thick like gravy!)
  4. Add 1 qt half n half, and 1 qt. milk. Stir well and pour into containers, label and freeze. My containers held 1 ½ cups soup.
  5. Thaw and use instead of canned soup.
