Instant Pot Frozen Pot Roast

  • 3# Frozen Chuck Roast
  • 4 cups Bone Broth
  • 2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 6 Medium Carrots
  • 3 Large Potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp Worcester Sauce optional
Steps
  1. Pour broth into your instant pot. Place the frozen chuck roast in the broth and season the chuck with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and coconut aminos. Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for 90 minutes on manual/pressure cook. Natural pressure release.
  2. While roast is cooking, dice your potatoes and carrots.
  3. Allow pot roast to rest for 10 minutes on your clean chopping board. While it rests load carrots and potatoes into the instant pot, season with salt and pepper and cook for 5 minutes on manual pressure.
  4. Using meat claws shred the cooked chuck roast or slice if using top round.
  5. Take about 25% of the carrots , potatoes, and broth from the instant pot, and blend. This will then be your beef gravy to pour over your pot roast.
  6. Load beef pot roast with carrots, potatoes, and gravy onto dinner plates.
