Caramel Pecan Baked Brie
Ingredients
  • 12 ounce wheel of brie
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ⅓ cup brown sweetener
  • 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ to 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place the brie in a small ovenproof dish.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat on the stove, melt the butter and whisk in the brown sweetener. Cook until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add the cream, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg to the skillet, and whisk to combine.
  5. Add pecans, and toss to coat. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes stirring often.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the brie, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until melted in the center.
