Pecan-Crusted Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard Slaw
Ingredients
  • ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard, divided
  • ½ cup mayonnaise, divided
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ head red cabbage, halved, cored, and sliced thin (6 cups)
  • 3 scallions, sliced thin
  • 1½ teaspoons table salt, divided
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup pecans
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1½ pounds chicken tenderloins, trimmed
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
