Chocolate Hazelnut Spiced Cookies
Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut-flavored liqueur (preferably Frangelico)

  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch-process)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut-flavored liqueur
