Nut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Balls
  • When shopping for ingredients:
  • Look for higher percentage cacao for the chocolate chips, and your nut butter should really be nothing but nuts, and maybe sea salt. Steer clear of added oils and/or added sugar if possible.
  • makes 12 balls, 6 servings:
  • Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup oat flour (ground oats)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or raw honey
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup dairy-free, mini chocolate chips
