Slow-Cooker Kalua Pork Sandwiches
Ingredients
  • 2 boneless pork breasts, (3 to 4 lbs. each), trimmed of fat
  • 2 tbsps. coarse sea salt
  • 2 tbsps. liquid smoke
  • 16 burger buns, split
Steps
  1. Make 1 inch slits all over each pork roast. Rub 1 tbsp. salt on each, making sure to get every area.
  2. Place pork in 3 to 4 qt. slow cooker. Pour 1 tbsp. liquid smoke on each; rub all over pork.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 14 hours.
  4. Remove pork from slow cooker; place on cutting board or large plate. Shred pork with fork; serve in buns.
