Caramelized Onions in a Crockpot
Ingredients
  • Charmaine McCann Caramelized onions in Two Crockpots. Slice them thin and then drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook on low 16 hours, and then crack the lid for another 8 to let the moisture evaporate. After they've caramelized for 24 hours, spread into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate until firm. Cut into 16 squares and wrap in saran wrap. Freeze.
