Turkey Chilli
Turkey Chilli with nachos

Ingredients
  • calorie controlled cooking spray
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced
  • 500g turkey breast mince
  • 400g tin chopped tomatoes
  • 400g tin kidney beans, drained and rinced
  • 1 avocado, halved, destoned, peeled and sliced or guacamole
  • 4 tsp 0% total Greek yogurt or soured cream
  • 100g plain tortilla chips
Steps
  1. Mist a pan with cooking spray and cook the onion for 10 minutes, adding the garlic, cumin, chilli and oregano for the last 2 minutes
  2. Stir in the pepper and mince and cook for 5 minutes.  Add chopped tomatoes and kidney beans, along with 200ml of water.  Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, then simmer over a low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve with the avocado, yogurt (or sour cream) and tortilla chips, seasoned with more black pepper
