Mock Cinnamon “Dolce” Latte (Sugar Free, S)
Ingredients
  • ½ cup hot/boiling water (to dissolve coffee and protein powder)
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons instant coffee (I use instant espresso - I get mine at Kroger)
  • (OR ½ cup your favorite strong coffee-I sometimes save mine from the morning while it’s fresh but reheat it)
  • note: 1 tablespoon (THM’s protein powder) or other on plan, plain whey protein
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ¼ teaspoon caramel flavoring (I used Watkins from Wal-Mart)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon extract (I used McCormick’s)
  • note: 3 teaspoons truvia (Or 2 teaspoons of erythritol and 1 donk of high quality stevia - this is sweet!)
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons heavy cream (depends on how hungry I am :-) it tastes good both ways
  • Ice cubes to thoroughly chill this drink
