This Bloody Mule is a warming and sweet twist on the classic Moscow Mule. Vodka mixed with a splash of raspberry liquor, pomegranate juice, lime, sweet fig jam (or apple butter), candied ginger, and ginger beer. Finish with burning sage for the spookiest October drink. The mocktail variation is also included with the recipe.
Ingredients
  • 2 ounces (¼ cup) vodka
  • ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) raspberry liquor (optional)
  • ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) lime juice
  • ⅓ cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 tablespoon fig jam or apple butter
  • 1 to 2 slices candied ginger
  • ½ cup ginger beer
  • pomegranate arils (seeds), for serving
  • 2 to 3 sage leaves
