Grandma Hargett's Sugar Cookies

½ cup margarine

1 cup sugar

2 eggs, well beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon milk

2 ¼ cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

Cream butter and sugar and continue creaming until well blended. Add beaten eggs, vanilla, and milk.

Mix dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Mix well.

Chill batter.

Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.

Bake in 375 to 400° oven for 8 to 12 minutes.
