Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs beef stew meat
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 21 oz beef broth
- 1 cup burgundy or dry red wine
- 9oz fresh or frozen green beans
- ½ Lb mushrooms
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 3 carrots shredded
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp water
- subheading: Marinade:
- 1 cup burgundy or dry red wine
- 8oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 bay leaves
- ½ Tsp allspice
Steps
- Marinate beef for at least 8 hours
- Brown beef in oil in skillet.
- In large pot bring marinade to boil. Add vegetables. Cook for 30 minutes.
- Make flour and water slurry and add to pot. Add meat.
