  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Crystal or Tabasco hot sauce, to taste
  • 1 raw egg
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon butter
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
