- ground beef, shredded cheddar, salt and pepper to taste, dill pickles
- Divide ground beef into large patties using a hamburger press
- Salt and pepper each side and add to pan
- Cook on medium heat on each side until it begins to blacken. Turn off heat.
- Once the burger is done, sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cover so it will melt.
- Remove from pan once melted and serve with a side of dill pickles and reduced sugar ketchup.
