Sausage Pasta
Ingredients
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 1 Tbs minced garlic
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 (14 oz.) can diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • 8 oz. dry pasta
  • ½ tsp each salt and pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Jack or similar cheese
  • ¼ tsp of Red Pepper Flakes or Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic Seasoning
  • ⅓ cup chopped green onion, for garnish
Steps
  1. Place olive oil into your pan over medium heat - add onions and sausage - cook for 5 minutes - add garlic and all seasonings - cook for 2 minutes
  2. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, milk, and pasta - bring mixture to a boil - lower heat and cover for 15 minutes
  3. Stir in the cheese. Garnish and serve.
