Almond Chicken Curry with Yoghurt

  • ½ Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 Teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ cinnamon stick(s)
  • 2 Teaspoons pink salt flakes
  • 30 Grams fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 green chillies, (de-seeded for milder version)
  • 200 Grams cream
  • 300 Grams water
  • 12 skinless chicken thigh fillets
  • Basmati rice to serve
  • 1 Handful almonds
  • 200 Grams full cream plain yoghurt
  • Handfuls fresh coriander or cilantro chopped
