How to Make a Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread
Ingredients

  • 1 egg + 1 teaspoon of water (optional egg wash)

  • 1 stick butter (½ cup), melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced (about 6 to 8 cloves, or 4 to 5 if you’re less fond of garlic)
  • 1-½ tablespoons dry parsley flakes
  • subheading: For the cream cheese filling:
  • 1-½ packages (12 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • You’ll need parchment paper, a sheet pan (or two!), several mixing bowls, a double boiler setup or microwave, and a whisk. A stand mixer is optional, but it’ll be helpful when you’re making the dough.
