Ingredients
  • 6 to 8 medium Potatoes sliced (6 cups)
  • Onions chopped
  • Bacon
  • 250g shredded chedar cheese
  • 2 cups 18 % cream
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
Steps
  1. Grease casserole dish
  2. Sauté bacon and onions
  3. Make rue with butter and flour, add cream and cheese. Want a thin sauce.
  4. Layer alternately potatoes, bacon, onions and sauce ending with ¼ inch of sauce on top. May top with cheese.
  5. Bake in 350 F oven for 1hour 15 minutes- 1hour 30 minutes.
  6. Uncover; bake additional 15 min .
