Cinnamon Donut Bread

This is such a great dessert bread. It's flavor and texture says Christmas to me..

¼ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract, divided

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ cup milk

½ tsp ground cinnamon

subheading: FOR THE TOPPING:

⅓ cup melted butter

¼ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup light brown sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon
