Bacon & Mushroom Creamy Tagliattelle
Ingredients
  • 400 grams Tagliatelle
  • 200 grams Bacon ; chopped
  • 200 grams Mixed Mushrooms ; sliced
  • 2 whole Onions or 200 grams shallot onion; chopped
  • 150 ml Creme Fraiche
  • 30 grams Parsley ; chopped
  • 30 grams Basil leaves ; chopped
  • 200 grams Baby Spinach
Steps
  1. Slice the mushrooms, bacon, onions, parsley and basil.
  2. Cook the pasta and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, fry the shallot and mushrooms until soft, and bacon until browned.
  4. Add the parsley, basil and spinach, cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until wilted.
  5. Add the creme fraiche, cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Add the pasta water to desired consistency.
  7. Season with pepper and serve the sauch on the pasta.
