Potato Curry in Yogurt Sauce / Dahi Vale Aloo
Ingredients
  • 3 Potatoes medium, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Ghee or Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper slit into two pieces (optional)
  • ½ tbsp Ginger minced
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Yogurt whisked with ½ cup water
  • ½ tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • ¼ cup Cilantro to garnish
  • subheading: Spices:
  • ½ tsp Ground Turmeric (Haldi powder)
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder (Dhaniya powder)
  • ½ tsp Cayenne or Red Chili powder adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala (optional)
