Cha Siu Pork Recipe Better Than Takeout!
Ingredients
  • 2.5 to 3 lbs pork butt ( Cut into 2" strips)
  • 3 to 4 pieces garlic
  • 2 slices ginger (optional)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Hoisin Sauce
  • ¼ cup Oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce - Low Sodium or regular
  • ½ tsp Five spice powder
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or canola)
  • 2 tsp red food coloring (optional) or
  • 1 tbsp fermented red bean curd
