What an Absolute Delight! I am using my Spelt Flour for this. Did you know that Spelt, Kamut, Farro or Khorasan has Not been Hybridised? Unlike Modern Wheat that has been Hybridised So Many times. They are also Much Healthier! You can also use Heritage Wheat Flour if you like?
Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced strawberries (1 cup puree)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
  • 4 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • zest of one lemon
  • Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting (double the recipe)
  • Fresh strawberries (optional to top)
