Stroganoff
Ingredients
  • Egg Noodles or any short noodles
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • Better than bullion beef base
  • Paprika
  • Garlic
  • Sour Cream
  • Milk or cream
  • Sliced Mushrooms (optional)
  • Frozen peas
Steps
  1. Cook noodles according to package directions
  2. Saute onions with a bit of salt until they are mostly soft
  3. Add ground beef and break apart as it browns
  4. Add and saute mushrooms if using
  5. Remove some fat with tongs and a paper towel after the beef is cooked
  6. Add garlic and paprika and fry until fragrant
  7. Add bullion base and a splash of milk
  8. Stir to combine
  9. Add remaining ingredients and stir in more milk until desired consistency
  10. Serve with peas on top
