Wendy's Cream Cheese Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients
  • subheading: Cream cheese mixture:
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 1 egg
  •  
  • subheading: Bread mixture:
  • 1 ⅔ cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 TBSP pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
Steps
  1. 1. Cream together the cream cheese mixture and set aside.
  2. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray and flour a 9x5 loaf pan.
  3. 3. Mix together the solids and set aside.
  4. 4. Mix together the liquids, then add in the dry ingredients.
  5. 5. Spoon into loaf pan ½ of the pumpkin batter. Spread it into the corners and make smooth.
  6. 6. Spoon in the cream cheese mixture next. Smooth it out.
  7. 7. Spoon in the last ½ of the pumpkin mixture. Cover all.
  8. 8. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes. Then take out of the oven when it's cooked through. Cool for 15 minutes then remove from pan. Cool completely.
