Cornmeal Waffles
Ingredients
  • ✔️2 ½ cups non-dairy milk
  • ✔️2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • ✔️1 ¼ cups of oat flour or whole wheat flour
  • ✔️¾ cup corn meal
  • ✔️2 tsp baking powder
  • ✔️½ tsp cinnamon
  • ✔️Dash of Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  •  
  • subheading: How to:
  • Blend Milk, sunflower seeds till liquid. Add dry ingredients and lightly blend.
  •  
  • Pour desired amount into waffle maker and heat until ready light comes on.
  •  
  • Serve with diced bananas, maple syrup and maybe even some vegan chocolate chips on top!

  • note: *Every time we make waffles I double the recipe and cover in the refrigerator. I find that if you eat within 2 days they are perfect - anything longer is a bit rough.
