Cornmeal Mush
Ingredients
  • 2 ¾ c water
  • 1 c cornmeal
  • 1 c water
  • 1 t salt

Notes
  • Farina: Serve hot with milk, sugar, butter.
  • Fried: Pour into loaf pan, let solidify, slice and fry in butter til golden and crisp. Serve with butter and syrup.
  • Polenta: Pour into pie plate, let solidify, bake for 20 mins or until hot. Serve with tomato sauce and/or parmesan cheese.
