Lemon Pistachio Cashew Cheese Ball
We add our cashews, nutritional yeast, miso paste, lemon juice, fresh lemon zest, water, salt, and refined coconut oil to a blender. Nutritional yeast is an inactive used that we use to give the cheese its cheesiness. It can be found in most health food stores, or you can just purchase it on Amazon. We use refined coconut oil without the coconut flavour to loosen the cheese to help with blending, but it then solidifies when refrigerated to help keep the cheese solid.
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup raw cashews
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 tbsp refined coconut oil
  • 1 tsp white miso paste
  • heaping ½ tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup pistachios, chopped
