Cocktail Meatball Appetizer

Ingredients
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup sherry
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon basil
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • subheading: Sauce:
  • 1 16 ounce jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 12 ounce jar chili sauce
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the ground meats together thoroughly. Blend in all remaining ingredients.
  3. Shape into small balls. Bake in oven for 12 minutes or until done.
  4. Mix together the chili sauce and cranberry sauce in a saucepan. heat slowly until hot; do not boil.
  5. Place meatballs in serving dish, pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
