  • 3.5 cups chicken broth low sodium if available
  • ¾ cup low-fat milk
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • ¾ cup extra sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
