Ingredients
  • 1 c. oat groats or steel cut oats
  • 2 c. water or broth
  • 1 c. each or more mushrooms, peppers, onion, garlic, tomato
  •  
  • subheading: Herbs to taste:
  • turmeric and black pepper
  • curry powder
  • smoked paprika
  • ginger
Steps
  1. Add all ingredients to the Instant Pot. Cook under pressure for 18 minutes. Let sit for minimum of 10 minutes, then release pressure.
Notes
  • Original recipe uses soaked dried mushrooms and the soaking liquid.
  • I like to double recipe and add 8 ounces sliced mushrooms. I am generous with spices.
