Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic fresh or from a jar
- 2 to 3 small shallots approximately 3 tablespoons finely chopped
- 1 can / 435 can pineapple rings juice only
- 2 rings pineapple from same can. Freeze remainder for another recipe
- 4 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce approx ¼ cup
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 cup / 200 grams muscavado sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons / 30 ml Jack Daniels whisky
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper more or less to taste
- ⅔ cup water
- Add ginger
- Add rosemary
