  • 1 small yellow onion, diced

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and sliced (keeps seeds if you want more heat)
  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground ancho pepper (or any mild ground red chili)
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional)
  • ΒΌ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
