  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup stout or porter beer (such as Guinness)
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 ½ cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 4 slices bread (toasted) - use beer bread for even more beer flavour
