Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs of country style pork ribs bone in or no bones; both work
  • 3 to 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 to 12 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 2 28oz cans of San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes hand crushed
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 cup of cabernet or red wine
  • 1 cup + 12 oz water
  • 24 oz jar of Passata
  • pork rib seasoning: about 1 tsp of each: salt cracked black pepper, and garlic powder
  • ½ tsp of crushed red pepper
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt & cracked black pepper
  • ½ tsp of sugar
  • Meatballs if you are making them with the sauce.
