  • ½ to 1 tbsp dark soy sauce optional for colour
  • 1 to 2 tsp sugar optional for a bit of sweetness
  • 1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup water equal part/1:1 ratio with the rice

  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 scallion chopped
  • ½ medium carrot diced
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms or other mushrooms of choice
  • 1 head bok choy chopped
  • 2 tbsp edamame

  • Diced bell pepper
