Dal Tadka Restaurant Style
Ingredients

  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • subheading: Final tempering - the second flavour blast:
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • ½ tsp cumin seed
  • 4 to 5 red chilies kashmiri
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 1 2 inch piece cinnamon bark
