  • 1 large red pepper, seeded and cut into ¼-inch pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tbsp. paprika (Hungarian if possible)
  • 1 c. low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 14-oz can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
  • ½ to 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ c. sour cream
  • Cooked egg noodles and chopped parsley, for serving
