Frozen Banana Daiquiri
Ingredients
  • 8 Tovolo 1.25” ice cubes (about 200 grams of ice)
  • ½ banana, peeled (about 55 grams)
  • ¾ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
  • ½ ounce rich (2:1) simple syrup*
  • 1 ounce banana liqueur, preferably Giffard Banane du Brésil or Tempus Fugit
  • 2 ounces mild Jamaican rum (e.g. Appleton Estate Signature)
  • Grated cinnamon, to top
  • Banana coins for garnish
Steps
  1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT cinnamon and banana coins in a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth - typically about 10 to 20 seconds.
  3. Pour into a rocks glass, then grate cinnamon on top.
  4. Garnish with skewered banana coins. (Optional.)
