  • 340g pork sausages (I used Heck family pack of 10 sausages)
  • 100g onion chopped
  • 100g red bell pepper chopped
  • 150g grated carrot
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • 30g tomato puree
  • 100ml red wine
  • 150ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 100ml Elmlea double cream light (or regular double cream will do)
