Ingredients
  • 2 Tablespoon cooking oil
  • 4 1" thick pork chops
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 slices bacon diced
  • 1 stalk celery finely diced
  • 3 large carrots, peeled & sliced
  • 1 16 Oz Jar Sauerkraut, drained & rinsed
  • 1 Lg Sweet Onion peeled & diced
  • 2 Gala Red Apples quartered
  • 4 Medium Red Potatoes quartered
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 Bottle German Beer (Shock Top)
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
Steps
  1. Sauté bacon, Onion, celery, carrot until Onions are opaque 3 to 5 minutes.  Add garlic and cook another minute. Add beer and deglaze the pot. Simmer for 5 minutes
  2. Add potatoes, apples and sauerkraut to pot. Sprinkle with caraway seeds.  Add pork chops
  3. Close Pot and cook an Manual High Pressure for 15 minutes. Naturally release pressure for 5 minutes then Quick release

  • Slow cooker... low 6 hrs
