Glazed Maple Pecans
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups unsalted pecan halves
Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper, or use a very lightly greased stone-wear pan.
  2. Stir together the maple syrup, salt, cayenne pepper and cinnamon in a bowl until well blended, then stir in the nuts until evenly coated. Arrange the nuts on the baking pan in a single layer. Use a spatula to get remaining mixture and drizzle sauce over pecans.
  3. Bake in the middle rack of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring them every couple of minutes, until they are browned, shiny and fragrant. Let cool completely before moving to a serving dish.

  • Refrigerate up to several weeks.
