Skillet Beef and Macaroni
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 eight-ounce cans of no salt added tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package (7 ounces) macaroni
  • ½ cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lower sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink, breaking meat into crumbles, drain. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until macaroni is tender, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if needed.
