Ingredients
  • 3 cups of gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup of ground millet
  • 3 cups of banana purée (made from 4 to 5 VERY RIPE bananas depending on their size)
  • 4 cups loosely packed raw shredded carrots (about 8 ounces)
  • 4 cups finely chopped apples (about 2 to 4 apples; use a sweet variety)
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie Spice* (or 2.5 teaspoons cinnamon and
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg)
  • ½ Tablespoon aluminum-free and sodium-free baking powder
  • ½ Tablespoon sodium-free baking soda
  • 1 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder (optional)
  • ½ cup raisins or dried currants (optional)
