Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons whole-wheat flour, plus extra for rolling out the dough
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cold, unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ¼ cup water plus ice
  • 1 egg beaten with a splash of water
