Clap Your Hands for This Cheesy Beef and Cornbread Cobbler
Ingredients
  • 1 Pd. lean ground beef (cooked and drained)
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 cup of chopped green peppers
  • 1 clove chopped garlic (optional)
  • Add 1 can of Campbell’s condensed tomato soup,
  • 1 cup of water,
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of McCormick paprika
  • 1 tsp Domino sugar
  • 1 cup of Green Giant whole kernel corn, drained
  • ⅔ cup Hunt’s diced tomatoes
  • (Mix all well and heat in skillet)

  • Combine 1 ½ cups of corn meal
  • ¼ cup Gold Medal flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of Morton salt,
  • 1 teaspoon of Clabber Girl baking powder,
  • 1 beaten Eggland’s Best egg
  • ⅔ cup Hiland buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons of Wesson vegetable oil.
  • Mix well
